A new kit will be coming out by Fit 2 Be Scrapped. It's called Auld Lang Syne--great for all those New Years photos...or any others you might have!
This kit worked out well for me to use with some cute pictures of McKay! This is the first time I have actually scrapped any photos in anything other than color! I really wanted to use these photos with this kit, but McKay's clothes were blue and green--not a great color combination for this kit--so I opted to turn them to sepia tones...and I think that the page turned out fabulous! Take a look: :)

PSE Beginning Class Week 4
For this weeks assignment, we were to play around with changing a photo to black and white, or sepia. Along with that, was to work with drop shadows and strokes as well. This one came together a bit easier for me...maybe I am learning something! :)
January Photo Editing Challenge
The January Photo Editing Challenge over at Scraps n' Pieces was trying to lighten up a subject that was too dark. I tried it out on this photo that I took over the weekend at the Circus. It ended up to be a little *too* light, unfortunately...but it looked good on my PSE program...oh well...Guess I still gotta play around with it! lol

PSE Beginning Class Week 3
Okay for the Beginning PSE Week 3 class, we had to crop a photo, cut a photo into a circle, add a matte for the photos, add paper strips, a ribbon, and 3 elements. Also adding a drop shadow to the page/elements as well. I had some trouble here and there, mostly from just trying to figure out the "right" way, as opposed to just figuring it out myself, but I think I got it. :)

January Photgraphy Challenge
Over at Scraps-n-Pieces...they have challenges for scrappers to complete throughout the month. This particular challenge was the Photography Challenge, with the emphasis on "close-up" or macro pictures. I did this picture collage when McKay turned 2. I thought it would fit along nicely with this challenge. :)
PSE Beginning Class - Week 2
I am taking a beginning Photoshop class to learn how to use PSE 11 that I got for Christmas! This week, we learned about layers, resizing, cropping, and rotating images/papers. I have worked with anything Photoshop for about 4 years, so I am REALLY rusty at all of this! haha
(Oh...and btw, I used Crossbones in Pink by Fit 2 Be Scrapped, which you can get, here.)
